What rules and regulations should I consider when installing a memorial?

Both design of the memorial and the material from which it is made will be governed by the regulations which apply to the churchyard or cemetery in which it is to be placed. A member of our staff will be able to guide you through all the options available to you.

How long will it take for my memorial to be installed?

If you have chosen a memorial from one of our brochures then the usual delivery time would be 12-14 weeks. However if you have chosen a memorial from our large showroom stock then this can be reduced to 4-6 weeks.

How soon can a memorial be erected?

It is generally advised to wait 6 months in a churchyard, however in a cemetery there is normally no waiting period.

What fonts can be used?

Any really, we have a vast range of available fonts and will produce a draft layout so you can see how it will look on the stone.

What area do you cover?

We cover the whole of Essex and East Anglia but are occasionally asked to travel a bit further. Depending on the distance this can occur a small charge. Please contact us for details.

Can I design my own memorial?

What about guarantees and insurance?

All of our work is guaranteed and we can also offer insurance from StoneGuard.

We’re concerned about the upkeep of our memorial as we won’t be able to visit regularly, can you help?

Of course, we offer a memorial maintenance programme where we will visit your memorial periodically to carry out any necessary maintenance. We can also lay floral tributes and send you photos if required.
